Parc

Parc is a newly formed architecture studio located Durham, North Carolina that designs and plans sustainable corporate and public environments. Led by Jeffery Bottomley and John Jarvis the studio offers decades of architectural experience and believes a deep understanding of client/project needs results in superior design solutions. More input equaling better product defines the studio’s approach and I worked with Jeffery and John to develop a visual identity that expresses this. The identity is anchored in a mark, a stylized “P” that is constructed of two simple, geometric forms. A square forms the base, representing the solid foundation created by fully understanding a client’s needs. A larger rounded shape grows from this foundation representing the creative idea. The mark is able to be rendered in several different ways, and is supported by color palette featuring a range of warm grays and light blue reflecting the personal approach of the studio.
